香囊为盛香料的小囊，佩于身或悬于帐以为饰物。如三国魏繁钦《定情》诗所云：“何以致叩叩，香囊系肘后”，或悬于帐以为饰物，似宋秦观《满庭芳》词云：“香囊暗解，罗带轻分”，清宫养心殿寝室内多悬挂此物。此件香囊运用透雕工艺，以镂空的结绳纹为饰，工艺精湛严谨，浑无刀凿之痕，玲珑剔透，细腻温润，尽显典雅之致。参阅：河北美术出版社《中国玉器全集》111页。
