Two gold-mounted ladies' canes Various dates late 19th/early 20th century The first a 14-karat gold and ebonized wood ladies' walking stick, the gold handle with rubbed inscription "TO L--- FROM THE GENTLEMEN OF THE BIDDLE HOUSE", with steel ferrule, the gold apparently unmarked; and the second a 10-karat gold filled and ebonized wood ladies' walking stick, the gold handle engraved "Frank's Mother" and marked "LYON MAKER," with brass ferrule.
