Unique & Historical Harvest Queen Black Ball Line Trade Signpost, 1861 76 x 46-1/2 x 16-1/2 inches (193.0 x 118.1 x 41.9 cm) (overall) The Harvest Queen was an American packet ship built in 1854 for the Black Ball Line with trans-Atlantic service between New York and Liverpool and beyond. On New Years Eve 1875, she collided with the steamship Adriatic in the English Channel upon her arrival from San Francisco. The Harvest Queen sank immediately with all souls lost. The sign is paint on wood panel in a wood frame measuring 34-1/2 x 24-3/4 x 2-3/8 inches (87.63 x 62.86 x 6.03 cm), displayed in a modern wrought iron frame on post and includes a black ultrasuede cover.
