CELLAR WITH PERFUMES in gilded silver and rosewood veneer with inlaid butterfly wings, PARIS 1727-1732 by François de LA PIERRE received in 1711. It comprises two flasks and four faceted crystal vials with vase shaped stopper covered with a gadrooned pedestal, a small polylobate tray underlined with radiating gadroons, a kettledrum decorated with fillets resting on a mantle and a funnel (a tiny hole at the bottom of the kettledrum stopped by a drop of tin, complete with its key, quite well marked).
