Set on a brown tortoiseshell box, probably with a gold rim. Diam. of the miniature 7.5 cm.

We compare our flower vase, probably one of the most beautiful miniatures delivered by the artist, with the two copies kept in the Fitzwilliam Museum (P.D. 1048-1973 and 1062-1973), as well as in the Félix Panhard collection (sale in Paris on 5 December 1975, cat.
