Rectangular mother-of-pearl work box engraved with garlands of flowers, in a finely gilded and chiselled brass frame of rosettes, friezes of denticules, pearls and daisies, resting on four claw feet with palmette attachments. The lid is decorated with a large oval medallion under curved glass with polychrome paper cut-out flowers. This Charles X period box includes a shuttle and a mother-of-pearl case with steel screws (a restoration on the case), a gold thimble punched with an eagle's head finely chiselled with a rosette, a small crystal perfume bottle, the two-tone gold stopper, a gold needle case chiselled with friezes of pearls and waves on an amati background bearing the hallmark of the departments (750) Number 46 for Lozère? with punch of small guarantee for the departments for gold with trimming 1809-1819 (weight of the case 6 g), a gold needle and its pair of scissors chiselled with motifs of flowers on amati bottom carrying the punches of gold with trimming for the departments 1809-1819 and re-punched at the head of eagle (weight of the needle and scissors blades steel 8 g)
