铜质锤头做工精细，呈杨桃形，与兽吞连接处，雕有环状装饰，并阴刻有“米”字及几何纹饰。前粗后细的锤杆为铁质，通体鎏银，且满工雕刻有竹节纹饰。挡手处亦有一兽吞，造型乖巧，与锤头兽吞遥相望呼应。锤柄因年代久远，仅遗存柄芯，柄芯两端圆中间扁，开有手穿绳孔，柄首为围棋形。整锤除锤杆外，皆为精铜所制。全长53厘米。
