明治十九年式军刀，是一款具有较高仪式感的日本军刀，其刀装风格源自西式，与其后的九四、九八、九五等军刀有着鲜明对比。搭乘者为小尺寸军刀，供装甲兵、飞行员等狭小空间作战人员配备。护手与柄首连为一体，形成护指。此刀刀身为本锻刀条，其上刻有“梅花扣雪香”雕物。刀柄铜制鎏金，其上装饰有樱花图案，刀柄包裹有鲛鱼皮。刀鞘为钢制，保存较为完好。全长79厘米。
