形制与传统德国猎剑基本一致，剑身蚀刻有狩猎场景，护手为反曲，两侧被雕刻为蹄形。装具的挂环和尾铆均为橡树果，其中尾铆可拆。剑柄为鹿角制，上面镶嵌有二战时期德国狩猎协会标志。剑装大部分为银质。剑鞘包裹有黑色皮革。全长50.3厘米。
