Description

Circa 1740, with egg-and-dart and foliate mouldings, the later bevelled plate within a 'kit-kat' surround, below an interlocking palm leaf frieze, surmounted by an open triangular pediment centred with an acanthus capped and foliate carved scrolled cartouche cresting, the shaped apron carved with a central scallop shell, 142cm high x 70cm wide.
