A Tibetan bronze Shakyamuni Buddha, 16th century, wearing a long robe with scroll borders, seated cross-legged on a double lotus pedestal, his hands in Bhumiparsha mudra with a vajra in front of him, 19cm high 十六世纪 西藏铜释迦牟尼坐像 Condition report: Traces of gilt to face and chest. Splits or cracks to the right chest, the left arm and the back. Surface scratches and dents, part of the border of the pedestal missing, probably from manufacture. Base possibly replaced. 914g.
