A Chinese cloisonné incense burner, 18th-19th century, of globular form on three tapering short feet surmounted by two upright loop handles, enamelled with archaic scrolls and blades, the feet with taotie masks and flanges, the pierced domed cover similarly decorated with a lobed finial above a double lotus pedestal, 35cm high (2) 清十八至十九世纪 铜胎掐丝珐琅饕餮纹三足香炉 Condition report: Surface scratches and knocks to edges. Enamel losses in numerous places especially to the base. Two feet loose. Dents to corners and edges. Cover with a split and one nut replaced to finial. A circular hole to the bottom of censer and each foot, all from manufacture.
