GROUP OF FOUR INK STONES HAN TO QING DYNASTIES comprising: a Han dynasty oval shape ink stone incised with a flower decoration on one edge; a Song dynasty rectangular ink stone incised with a Chinese character 'Hung' on the underside, possibly the original owner's name; a Ming dynasty rectangular piece incised with a vase shape; together with a Qing dynasty irregular shape ink stone carved with floral and spider decoration, with a fitted wooden stand (Dimensions: largest: 14.6cm long) (Qty: 4) (largest: 14.6cm long) Qty: (4) Footnote: Provenance: Private English collection, Brighton, all acquired from Hong Kong in 1990s and with original receipts: the Tang piece acquired from Wing Kei Curios & Porcelain, Hong Kong (永基古玩瓷器)on 23rd January, 1996, the receipt stated the piece dated to the Han dynasty; the Song piece acquired form the same place on 30th August 1995; the Ming piece acquired from Wan Tung Trading Co., Hong Kong on 1st June 1996, stated the piece dated to Wangli period; the Qing piece acquired from Nostalgic House, Hong Kong on 1st April 1997
