The Martin Robert Morland CMG (1933-2020) collection of Chinese ceramics - a Chinese blue & white plate, Kangxi period (1662-1722), the centre panel painted with a scene of a child on a balcony, within a border of precious objects, incised Augustus Rex Collection mark, hairline to rim, 8.75ins. (22.2cms.) diameter. Provenance - purchased from Edward A. Nowell, Wells, Somerset, 14th July 1973 (original receipt included).
