A group of three Chinese jadeite pendants dating from the Republic period. The group includes: a jadeite gourd with an unmarked clasp; a pendant featuring a pair of birds with ruby eyes and jadeite cabochon bodies; and a cat with ruby eyes and a jadeite lucky coin plaque. Dimensions: the largest piece, the pendant featuring a pair of birds, measures 1 1/4 inches tall X 1 1/8 inches wide, 3.2 cm tall X 2.9 cm wide. All measurements are approximate. Condition: All 3 pieces are in good condition. Provenance: From Mrs. Hillebrand in Chicago. Her father-in-law purchased these items in China and Hong Kong between 1935 and 1970.
