A pair of Chinese coral earrings dating from the Republic period. The earrings feature 2 sets of carved coral roses. The reverse is stamped "865". Dimensions: 1 1/4 inches tall X 5/8 inch wide, 3.2 cm tall X 1.6 cm wide. Weight: 5.1 grams. All measurements are approximate. Condition: Both are in good condition. Provenance: From Mrs. Hillebrand in Chicago. Her father-in-law purchased these items in China and Hong Kong between 1935 and 1970.
