A Chinese export blue and white plate dating from the Kangxi period. The interior of the plate features a butterfly among flowers with a rim of flowers on a geometric background. The bottom has a mark. Dimensions: 1 inch tall X 10 3/4 inches diameter; 2.5 cm tall X 27.3 cm wide. All measurements are approximate. Condition: Overall good condition with minor chips at the rim and foot. Provenance: From a private collection in Lorton, Virginia.
