A pair of Chinese famille rose porcelain hexagonal hat stands dating from the early-19th century. Each side of the hat stand has a quatrefoil cut out and a depiction of a courtly lady or a calligraphy poem with 3 seals. Dimensions: 11 3/4 inches tall X 5 inches wide; 29.8 cm tall X 12.7 cm wide. All measurements are approximate. Condition: One has a chip and several glaze chips to the upper rim with a star crack to the bottom, the other has very minor wear to the glaze around the rim. Provenance: From a private collection in Lorton, Virginia. The collector has been restoring antiques for over 50 years in the Washington, DC area. Click here for high resolution images
