A Chinese blue and white porcelain garlic-headed vase with a Qianlong Nianzhi mark and dating from the Republic period. The vase is decorated in the style of Wang Bu, and features butterflies among flowers beneath an elaborate banana leaf border at the mouth. Dimensions: 12 1/4 inches tall X 8 inches wide; 31.1 cm tall X 20.3 cm wide. All measurements are approximate. Condition: It is in good condition. Provenance: From a private collection in Lorton, Virginia.
