A Chinese blue and white porcelain stem bowl with a 6-character Qianlong mark but dating from the Republic period. The exterior depicts a lotus border at the rim and lotus tracery on the stem with repeated pairs of characters in a wide band on the body. Dimensions: 4 3/4 inches tall X 6 1/4 inches wide; 12.1 cm tall X 15.9 cm wide. All measurements are approximate. Condition: It is in good condition with 1 firing crack to the base. Provenance: From a private collection in New York. Similar blue and white stem cups were sold at Christie’s New York on September 19-20, 2013 as lot 2726 and at Christie’s Hong Kong on November 27, 2007 as lot 2389.
