A Chinese famille rose vase with a 6-character Guangxu mark and of the period. The vase features bats, peaches, and Shou medallions with a band at the shoulders of Shou characters in lotus tracery. Dimensions: 15 1/2 inches tall X 9 inches wide; 39.4 cm tall X 22.9 cm wide. All measurements are approximate. Condition: It is in overall good condition with very minor glaze wear. Provenance: From Dr. Manuel Tizon Velasquez in Maryland. He acquired this item in Hong Kong in 1973.
