A large Chinese porcelain vase dating from the late-19th century. The vase features a pair of phoenix among flowering branches. The vase has a 6-character Qianlong mark on the bottom and comes with a wooden stand. Dimensions: 23 inches tall X 14 inches wide; 58.4 cm tall X 35.6 cm wide. All measurements are approximate. Condition: Multiple glaze chips. Provenance: From the estate of Mr. Kwok Woon Kun, formerly a shareholder of Wing On Company, a well-known department store group in Hong Kong and Shanghai. This collection was collected in Hong Kong prior to Mr. Kwok's death in 1969. His collection was shipped to Canada in 1981 and was inherited by Mr. Kwok’s daughter and grandson.
