此白玉蟋蟀罐玉质坚密、莹透、纯净、洁白，恰如“白如截肪”的特点。罐内膛壁光滑匀称，素面碧玉镶口，衬托出白玉的晶莹剔透。罐身刻有高山苍松翠柏，仙鹤祥云，二老者站立观景交谈；身后一书童身形活泼可爱，纹饰雕刻工艺十分精湛细腻；于细节之处彰显工匠之高超技艺。出自清代一流玉雕工匠之手。此玉质蟋蟀罐无论材质与工艺均属上乘之作，为清代珍稀把玩件。
