白玉，圆雕。卧鹅曲颈回首，背带皮色，胸、双翼羽毛均用阴线。双翼刻画细致，羽毛富有层次感。颈部与胸部之间有穿孔可以系带。此挂件质地温润白如脂，雕工细腻，实属罕见，是把玩系挂之上品。民俗也有对出远门的行人赠送鹅或螃蟹者，以祈祷其前程远大。宋毛滂《诉衷情》词：「短疏萦绿象床低，玉鹅度香迟。微云淡着河汉，凉过碧梧枝。秋韵起，月阴移，下帘时。人间天上，一样风光，我与君知。」参阅震旦博物馆藏品，汉代玉鹅，《传统与创新--先秦两汉动物玉雕》页182
