Akbar Padamsee (India 1928-2020).Water color on paper. Image 15 inches x 10 3/5 inches. Padamsee is considered as one of the pioneers of Indian modern art. He was a student of famous J.J. School of Art in Mumbai. During that time 1947. Progressive art group was formed by M.F. Husain. By the time he finished his diploma he was already associated with the group. His paintings are in major collections worldwide and sold by the mostreknown auctioneers worldwide.
