Titled "Birds in a Tree", vivid and colorful framed lithograph is signed and numbered 101/120. Artist Paul Guiramand was born in Saint-Quentin, France. In the early thirties he moved to Paris and became a witness to the violence of war torn France. Two years later he began studying design at the Ville de Paris. In 1954 he began a series of lithographs at the Atelier of Fernand Mourlot. The Atelier was a popular gathering place for such noted artists of the epoch: Miro, Chagall, etc. Many of these artists became Guiramand's life long friends. 38 x 31 1/2 in. 30 x 24 in.
