The BostonHerald Weekly War Pictorials include the very first issue of the magazine, and there arebreathtaking photos of the Battle of the Marne, the Lusitania (a ship that was sunk offthe coast of Ireland by a German submarine), British machine gunners, the ArgonneForest, Zouves, Krupp guns, and other components of the first World War. Each editionis well illustrated and has history to accompany the photos. These editions are hard tofind, especially in one collection like this.
