来源继远美术，香港此盘敞口，薄口微外折，浅弧腹，浅圈足。盘心分内外两区，外区两条阴线分隔，内剔花缠枝水草纹一周，盘心内剔划一牡丹花卉，枝叶翻转，纹饰清晰。外罩青釉，色青翠如榄，受刀处积釉呈深绿色，得深浓淡浅之趣。本器即为耀州窑鼎盛时期的代表作品之一，刻花技法为「半刀泥」，一刀深侧刀浅，形成如同浅浮雕的效果，纹饰立体突出，却不高于平面。此小碟端庄秀丽，纹饰刻画流畅，分层次装饰，存世仅见纽约苏富比2016年9月份3日编号125宋耀州窑青釉刻花盘可作参考，乃北宋耀州窑代表作中的臻善。
