简介：陈金城，福建省泉州市惠安县洛阳镇岭头村人。字念庭，号殿臣。父陈纯仁在外为塾师。13岁参加县试，考中秀才。后入泉州清源书院读书，与陈庆镛、苏廷玉、黄宗汉、杜蕉林等人同窗。以二等选署古田教谕，旋授连城训导。任职期间，“循循善诱，到处咸有声称”。清朝末年进士。陈金城是陈伯达的曾祖父，与林则徐、魏源颇有交往，参加过抗英斗争。
