香瓶是用来盛放香匙香筷的用具，元代以后与香炉、香盒常配套使用，又称炉瓶盒三式。明代文房雅物盛行，各类香具不仅仅是文人案头不可或缺的用具，还成为一个收藏赏玩的系统门类。于是就出现了各类丰富多彩的、材质各异的香具雅玩。此件香瓶四方倭角，束颈。颈部四面浅刻填金云龙纹及花卉纹。上部与底部一圈用酱色寿山石，中部用白色寿山石。其上雕琢蝴蝶并用填漆的手法装饰红花绿叶。底部浅刻填金凤纹。为典型清早期的佳作。
