|此壶为明末紫砂佳制，形体硕大，气势恢宏。泥色斑斓沉着，如繁星满天，为紫泥与段砂颗粒调制而成。壶钮为一卧牛，屈足向天，做喘月之态。壶嘴壶把别具匠心，截面开口呈心形，且壶身明针修饰工艺高绝，体现了明末大匠高超的造型功力，代表了明末紫砂的工艺高度。此壶由东瀛大藏家递藏，可称为明末紫砂中之逸品，紫玉金砂，不愧其名，同类造器著录于《宜兴紫砂词典》彩图页之二，但远不及此壶工艺造型精到，藏家当得而珍视之。
