A Western Iranian bronze dagger, Luristan, circa 1100 B.C. Blade with strong central ridge. The handle has a semi-circular end. Breakouts along the cutting edges. Small old bulge of the blade by cutting. Encrusted in places, excellent patina underneath. Handle broken and glued in the lower part. Length 42 cm. Provenance: From an old Austrian private collection. Condition: III Ein Randleistendolch, Luristan, Westiran, ca. 1100 v. Chr. Klinge mit starker Mittelrippe. Der Griff mit halbrundem, offenem Abschluss. Ausbrüche entlang der Schneiden. Kleine alte Ausbeulung der Klinge durch Hieb. Stellenweise verkrustet, darunter exzellente Patina.
