A Western Iranian Elamite axe with bird, bronze, Luristan, 2000 - 1750 B.C. A halberd-shaped blade emerging from the open mouth of an animal (bird?). Round spout with a backward-turned bird's head and wings on its back. Intact. Length 12 cm. Provenance: From an old Austrian private collection.
