An exeptionally large Western Iranian bronze axe, Luristan, 2nd millenium B.C. Bronze axe with a strong round spout, reinforced with a burr at the neck. Large, almost triangular blade with slightly rounded cutting edge. Beautiful patina. Intact. Length 20.5 cm. Weight 1 kg. Rare! Provenance: From an old Austrian private collection.
