Chinese ,19th C,well potted and of circular section, the box comprising four separate trays and a cover of slightly domed form, the sides of the tiers bordered in various tones of cobalt-blue with a continuous lotus scroll issuing large peonies blooms and small curling leaves, the domed cover with identical patterns a blue and white teapot, decorated in gilded rims, borders and handles with a gilded triangular finial carved n low relief. The body is decorated in figural scene in an outdoor setting.
