A Chinese famille rose porcelain vase, mark of Qianlong but 20th century, the ovoid body painted with opposing figural scenes, reserved against a ruby ground filled with lotus and scrolling tendrils, beneath a ruyi head collar, between a pair of moulded elephant mask and gilt ring handles, the flared neck filled with polychrome lotus and scrolling tendrils on a yellow ground, blue enamelled four-character mark to base, height 40cm.
