项哲青1987年出生于江苏海门，毕业于南京艺术学院雕塑系的玩偶设计师，2008年开始玩具研究。2012年创立蒸汽工厂品牌，作品展现出蒸汽朋克和复古风格独具特色，作品中既有油画元素，也包含手工制作和手绘格调，在复古的传统手工艺与新设计之间自由游走，造就了鲜明的玩具艺术。
