A Chinese Celadon Jade Mountain Boulder 3-1/2 x 6-1/2 x 2-3/4 inches (8.9 x 16.5 x 7.0 cm) on a 2-3/4 inch (6.9 cm) carved wood base The stone is finely carved as a mountain boulder, depicting two sages engaged in a landscape with pavilions, animals, and pine trees, the reverse side of the boulder is inscribed an imperial poem; the stone is of an even tone with some inclusions, on a nicely carved wood stand.
