20th century The first standing on a flat base, the side walls tapering inward under a deeply arched overhead handle, the short conical spout separating an incised portrait of Su Dongpo and two large characters reading 'shi dun', inscribed '[Yang]xian Zhuxi ke', the underside stamped with a Wan Fengshun Ji studio mark; the second designed with two conjoined hexagonal compartments, the side walls carved with vertical ridges tied with a 'ribbon', further decorated with bamboo and leafy sprigs, fitted with a lid surmounted with a curled finial, the underside with an undecipherable mark. 6 1/2 and 4 1/2in (16.5 and 11.5cm) high (2).
