款识：通天犀。剧中人为草莽英雄青面虎徐起英。辛己之白露，吴郡七十二叟颜梅华。 钤印：梅华（朱文）、天夔画记（白文） 颜梅华，号雪庵，斋号琴斋。浙江乐清人。出身书香世家，自幼喜读书，嗜丹青，聪明智绝，才情别具。四十年代中期从事连环画创作，师从陈光镒。尤其擅长武侠剑客和古典等题材，其笔下的侠客男士形象和绘画风格独具特色。解放前即被誉为连环画“四小名旦”之一。
