Large Japanese Gilt, Patinated and Signed Bronze Charger. This large bronze plate seems to depict birds and bamboo in a light snowfall. The signature is engraved inside of a circular foot rim which simulates bamboo. Both sides utilize different patination techniques to achieve their effects. Meiji Period 1868-1911.
