Description

题识：文从简 钤印：文从简 说明：文从简，字彦可，号枕烟老人，明湖广衡山人，系籍长州（今江苏苏州）。文征明曾孙，文嘉孙，元善子。崇祯十三年（1640）拔贡，清后退居林下，以书画自娱。山水画似文征明、文嘉，能传家法，笔墨简淡，略带荒率之致，但较少变化。用水墨居多，思致清或，布局安详，境界空灵，气韵浑厚。兼学王蒙、倪瓒，喜用枯笔皴斫，作方从义笔法，脱尽时人蹊径。书法 李邕，最得其神。
