First quarter, 20th century; portable cabinet with wood exterior, having pair of folding doors which open to reveal intricately carved gilt/lacquer shrine, pair of gilt decorated folding doors with silk covering,carved gilt wood temple roof and portico, with dragon, phoenix and column support with altar area, interior above doors with carved /gilt wood figural relief scenes, and having removable lacquer adornments, electrified, 67 in. H., 37 in. W., 24 in. D., comes with several old Buddhist prayer books.
