|1903年11月4日，黄兴以庆祝三十岁生日为名秘密集会，陈天华、宋教仁、章士钊等人参加，商定成立“华兴会”，推举黄兴为会长。1905年8月20日，中国同盟会由兴中会、华兴会和光复会合并成立，华兴会全体会员加入同盟会。中国同盟会在各省成立了同盟会支部。中华民国元年，湖南省同盟会支部为纪念辛亥革命创建民国的历史壮举制作了此章。此章古朴大气，字体铁划银钩，设计浑然天成，存世稀见，实为珍贵的革命文物。
