DESCRIPTION: A mid Century sculpture by Aurelio Teno composed of silvered bronze a seashell and coral eye inserts. The sculpture is fitted atop an onyx plinth, stickered "Leo" along the front. Artist Info: Aurelio Teno was born in 1927 in the province of Córdoba, training in the artistic trade in the provincial capital. In 1950 he moved to Madrid to work as a goldsmith, and later to Paris where he lived for ten years and was influenced by Giacometti and Expressionism. He holds several painting exhibitions in the Salón del Art Libre, Palais des Beaux Arts and others galleries. At the same time, he is dedicated to the creation of jewelry-sculptures.
