Mary Charlotte Greene (British, 1860-1951), Pollarded Elms, Harston, Cambridgeshire watercolor on paper, monogrammed lower right, matted behind museum glass in a gilt frame. Sight size 6 x 13 1/4 in.; Frame dimensions 14 3/4 x 21 1/2 in. An accomplished watercolorist, Mary Charlotte Greene was President of the Cambridge Drawing Society for several years. She also trained and exhibited work at the Royal Academy in London. Examples of Greene's artwork are present in the collection of The Fitzwilliam Museum at The University of Cambridge, England.
