Pair of framed antique Chinese dioramas depicting scenes of people on land and at sea. Paint decorated three-dimensional scenes with floral decoration accented by Kingfisher feathers. On a painted silk ground. Wooden frames with applied carved floral decorated openwork panels in shades of green and red. Most probably Cantonese. By consignor provenance these pieces were purchased at auction in Miami during the 1950's. From a White Plains, NY estate. Dimensions: each piece with overall dimensions measuring approx. 22.5" h x 30.5" w.
