BRUMMETT ECHOHAWK NATIVE AMERICAN WATERCOLOR, 1980 Brummett Echohawk (American, 1922-2006) Framed watercolor painting of Native American family near their home in the winter by artist Brummett Echohawk, 1980. Framed size: 14.5 x 12 in. Watercolor size: 9.5 x 7 in. The artist signed and dated the painting in the bottom left corner. Echohawk (1922-2006) was a Native American artist who served in the 45th Infantry Division during World War II. He received a Purple Heart, a Bronze Star, and a Congressional Gold Medal.
