此碗造型端正大气，碗外壁绘八宝纹，纹饰中的吉祥元素皆以中国传统彩绘手法绘就，突出写实性。八吉祥，又称佛教八宝，由法轮、法螺、宝伞、白盖、莲花、宝瓶、金鱼、盘长结组成，象征佛教威力的八种物象，至乾隆时，宗教意味已失，纯为祥瑞图案，甚或与道教纹样混淆。整体布局均衡，填色精准，红彩纯正匀净，绿彩娇嫩青翠，黄彩明快润泽，诸彩交映出淡雅柔和，殊为难得。
