Late 18th/19th century. a famille rose porcelain pear-shape vase, the rim with a ruyi border, above two antelope head handles, rising on a high footring. Decorated with multiple figural and narrative scenes including a birthday reception in the paradise of the immortals, Shou Lao, the God of Longevity with a peach as he is being rowed in a boat, a scholar sitting in nature, and maidens with fans. Height 17 1/4 x diameter 15 inches. Provenance: Estate C.Th. Deichmann (1866-1931), Cologne.
